This is simply the greatest piece of writing ever. Or at least that I've found so far today. It's funny AND profound. I dedicate this to myself and to everyone else who thinks they actually know something about anything.

I also have to agree with Ms McArdle's contention that most issues cannot be boiled down to a definitive solution. Meritorious arguments usually exist on both sides, and the winner is usually the person who is most informed, persuasive, and intelligent, not necessarily who is "right." Then again, you could probably make a strong case going the other way...
