Krugman a deserving winner

I just wanted to post a couple things:

1) Paul Krugman's selection for the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Science makes me happy. Now I can add "Nobel Prize winner" next to his name in my textbooks. While I think his political beliefs sometimes interfere with his objectivity, he is a great economist whom I admire and respect. And you can't deny he's right an annoyingly (to conservatives) high percentage of the time.

2) I can't believe that a quality home sound system costs half as much as a stupid IKEA sofa-bed. What the hell?!? What does this mean for me? It means I'll be sleeping on my brand new woofer.

3) Oh, and if people don't already know, I'm moving into the M Street Apartments in Seattle. I'm incredibly excited to be living in downtown so close to everything (try a five-minute walk to work!).

4) I hesitate to post this, but I'm also currently waiting to hear back from Amazon about a permanent position as an associate buyer in jewelry. I'm really hoping they hire me, but I'm only giving myself a 25% chance at this point in time. I should know the final verdict by this Wednesday.
