Malaria today, gone tomorrow

Here's a great article by the development economist Jeffrey Sachs. His efforts to help stamp out malaria in Africa are well-known in economics circles, and he describes it as a critical step towards eliminating extreme poverty in Africa. I recommend his book, The End of Poverty, to all who care about human life and how we can improve it for so many.
