As much as I hate the name of the Department of Homeland Security (why don't we just call it the Department of Insert Propagandized Name Here), I applaud their latest prevention efforts in minimizing the negative impact of Hurricane Gustav by using MySpace as an informational mouthpiece. Way to go, Government! You're using MySpace and the tools of the twenty-first century!
Before you know it, we'll have senators twittering about the latest legislation enacted and Supreme Court justices texting each other: "Did u c what Alito wuz wearing? OMG."
