Rough day

You know how the sequel to a movie is always worse than the original? Well, apparently the same can be said for days: yesterday was awful...and just as it should be, today was even worse! Awesome.

But seriously, I'll probably go into more detail about why it was such a bad day when I can figure out how to articulate exactly why it was...I think it's one of those things that is so damn hard to explain because it basically requires you to know my life story. I'll spare you that for now.

Other than that, I would love to share with you a friend of mine's recent blog post. Kaelyn Kelley wrote about one of my favorite Switchfoot songs: "This Is Your Life." Her words perfectly echo my own thoughts about what that song has asked me to reflect upon every day.

So please: listen to the song if you've never heard it before, and even if you have, go listen to it again for good measure. And then go read Kaelyn's post. You'll see what I mean.
